My daughter and I came to Vitality Spa for the first time yesterday, Saturday, Aug. 29, thanks to a group of my friends who wanted to give us a little respite from a family crisis two and a half years ago. It took us till now to take advantage of their very generous gift, but the timing worked out great, as we have just come off of another few challenging months.
Luray was my Massage Therapist and Dana was my daughter’s. I will let her send in her own review, but she told me Dana was AMAZING and gave her a FABULOUS massage.
The ambience at Vitality Spa gives a feeling of a big welcome hug from the minute we walked in. Dana and Luray greeted us warmly as we sat filling out the paperwork.
For me, this was my first massage in many years, and my last experience elsewhere does not even come close to the experience I had yesterday with Luray. Luray led me inside, and I was immediately at ease with her. She has a very warm, relaxing and inviting way about her. After a few brief minutes of conversation, Luray seemed to know exactly what I needed and what areas needed the most attention. My sciatic pain has eased, but just as important was how relaxed I felt during Luray’s massage. I am a talker but did not speak much at all except to add info I had forgotten to mention. I did not want to speak. I was completely immersed in Luray’s massage and was amazed at her strong hands, yet gentle touch, as well as her knowledge and desire to heal. Luray has a kindness that goes beyond words, as it actually comes through her massage. I will not wait years to get another massage and my daughter and I agreed to go back twice a year for our birthdays. I will be requesting Luray going forward every time. Thank you, Luray, for giving me the best massage I have ever had and being the kind of Massage Therapist who really cares about her clients, felt even by a first-timer. Looking forward to returning in a few months and having my massage with Luray.
Warm regards and many thanks, MR
